Organizational Development Initiatives Programme for Apex Bank Staff

A 3 days off campus training programme on “Basic Banking Knowledge and Book Keepings” was inaugurated on 25th June 2025 at Namsai Circuit House under the “Organisation Development Initiatives” programme of Arunachal Pradesh State Coop. Apex Bank Ltd.
While speaking on the inaugural function as Resource Person, Shri Kamal Roy, Asstt. General Manager, NABARD, appreciated the Bank Management for organizing such program to bring changes to the organization as well as motivation to the staff. In his speech he dealt upon role of the Cooperative Movement in shaping the rural India pre and post-independence and got present momentum after various reforms from time to time. He assured that the NABARD will always extend support in the organizational Development initiatives for the Coop. Apex Bank and play a role of big brother. He appealed all participants to take full advantage of the programme and share their views openly in these 3 days programme.
The programme was attended by the BMs of nearby Branches of the Bank as the resource persons and the programme was coordinated by Shri Nabam Tati, AGM(HRD), Apex Bank, Head Office Naharlagun.
All together 22 member staffs from 11 branches of the bank participated in the programme.

Orientation Programme on “Organisation Development Initiatives” Inaugurated

A 5 days long Orientation Programme on “Organisation Development Initiatives” for staff members of Arunachal Pradesh State Coop. Apex Bank was inaugurated on 10th June 2025 at the Conference Hall of Apex Bank, Head Office, Naharlagun.
While speaking on the inaugural function as Chief Guest, Shri Damodar Mishra, General Manager, NABARD, APRO, Itanagar appreciated the Bank Management and BIRD, Lucknow for taking the initiative for organizing such an program to bring changes to the organization. He assured that the NABARD will always extend support in the organizational Development initiatives for the Apex Bank. He appealed all participants to take full advantage of the programme and share their views openly in these 5 days programme. The programme was led by the Faculty members from BIRD (Bankers Institute of Rural Development), Lucknow.
Dr Sikha Tripathi, DGM, BIRD, Lucknow in her key note address highlighted the aims and objectives of the programme. She opined that the ODI is not a training programme, rather it is a continuous process to bring changes in the organization by its own people/ stakeholders. She hoped that all the participants will interact and exchange their views during the programme.
Shri Bittu Kri, MD cum CEO, Apex bank thanked NABARD, APRO, Itanagar as well as BIRD, Lucknow for their cooperation for organizing the programme.
All together 40 officers and Officials, Branch Managers are attending the programme.
Valedictory Session Highlights:
On the concluding day of the programme, all participants presented Action Plan drawn by themselves in group manners on following area of concern for the strengthening of Apex Bank and LAMPS:
- Business Development
- HR improvement
- IT System development
- Revival of LAMPS & its Business Linkage with Apex Bank
Senior Officers from NABARD, APRO Itanagar were invited in the programme to witness the overall outcome of the ODI programme and strategies adopted by the participants themselves to strengthen the Bank and LAMPS. They expressed their satisfaction over the performance of the participants for drawing an effective Action Plan but advised to achieve the same in letter and spirit for which all have to be remain connected between themselves, the Bank, the Management and LAMPS.
The most important part of the programme was that the entire programme was live on VC mode where MD, Apex Bank and Jt. RCS joined the programme through VC and interacted in every points of discussion on Action Plan and suggested accordingly. The programme was coordinated by the visiting Faculty Members.
